ISOTEX FOL is a three-layered vapour-permeable roof foil designed for use in building industry on ventilated pitched roofs directly under the roofing as a protection for the attic insulation. Made of upper and lower polyethylene foil layers and special internal reinforcing layer that ensures extreme resistance to tearing. ISOTEX FOL has a micro-perforation on its whole length that confirms its vapour-permeability level. It also contains special stabilization additives that ensure 2-month resistance to UV radiation what means that the final covering of the roof can be done with delay.

ISOTEX FOL is a first-class product and is marked with original label. The authenticity of the product is confirmed by imprints on membrane that ensure easy and fast assembly on roof.

Application

ISOTEX FOL roof foil finds its application as a preliminary covering of sloping, insulated and ventilated roofs. It constitutes attic protection during roofing works, after the closing of roof system prevents it from dampness and precipitation (rain, snow, mist) getting under roofing. It is also a perfect protection of thermal insulation from dust and other impurities. The min. 5 cm venting slot has to be applied between foil and thermal insulation (mineral wool, glass wool etc.) so that the foil cannot be laid directly on thermal insulation. One should bear in mind that the roof membranes are designed for sloping insulated roof insulation and it is advised that the assembly of thermal insulation of the attic is done within shortest time possible what ensures reliable roof system operation. The assembly of final roof covering should be done with the use of batten and counter batten.
